The Laboratory continuously develops collaborations with research and academic institutions, cultural organisations, Ephorates of Antiquities, chambers, ecclesiastical bodies, local government authorities, and public and private organisations. These collaborations are established within the framework of research activities and projects, the provision of specialised services, and the development of innovative applications.

The Laboratory also collaborates with the Artificial Cognitive Systems Group of the ATHENA Research Center, Xanthi Branch, on the application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, autonomous systems, and robotics across its activities. This collaboration supports the development of advanced digital tools for archaeometric, environmental, and physicochemical applications, as well as the use of intelligent-systems technologies for automated analysis, monitoring, and decision support.

The Laboratory is one of the recognised archaeometry laboratories in Greece and is included in the directory of the Hellenic Society for Archaeometry.

In addition, it is a member of the Network of Collaborating Laboratories of the Greek Atomic Energy Commission (EEAE), actively contributing to the national radioactivity monitoring system, environmental radiological surveillance, and emergency preparedness and response.
