Dr Nikolaos Kazakis, Research Director at the Laboratory of Archaeometry and Physicochemical Measurements of the Athena Research Center, will present the results of the project:
during the Green Fund’s two-day online event on 27 and 28 April 2026, entitled “From Research to Practice: Innovative Solutions for the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity”.
The event marks the culmination of three years of intensive scientific work (2023-2025), during which 30 innovative research projects with a total budget of €6,000,000 were funded under Priority Axis 3 “Research and Implementation” of the “Natural Environment & Innovative Actions 2022” programme.
The ALGEBRA project was implemented at the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) in Xanthi by the Laboratory of Archaeometry and Physicochemical Measurements. It focuses on developing innovative wastewater-bioremediation methods using microalgae within a circular-economy framework.
The event will be held online through the e-Presence platform and will be open to the public free of charge, subject to registration.
